Great jewelry can stimulate and inspire the wearer, as well as adorn her.

My hand-made, one of a kind, art jewelry utilises the decorative potential of both commonplace and found objects, juxtaposing shapes, colours, and textures to transmute those objects from the mundane to the sublime!

Everyday objects appeal to me because they are homely; found objects because they have already played a part out in the world. By creatively combining these with lampwork and glass beads, ribbons, sequins, and other sparkly bits, I transform them into refreshingly original art pieces.

Taking advantage of my Dremel rotary tool vastly expanded my selection of potential “jewels”. Nowadays my view of the world is coloured by the tantalising question -- “how would that dangle?”
